CASCADES CONTAINERBOARD PACKAGING The Containerboard Packaging Group, a division of , is the largest containerboard producer in Canada, and is also a top converter of corrugated products in the country. The Group manufactures a wide range of products made from recycled fibres for its North American customers in the food, beverage and consumer products sectors, among many others. The Division, which employs close to 3,400 people, owns six containerboard mills and nineteen corrugated products plants in Canada and the United States. Your challenge! We are looking for a financial analyst to join the Packaging team. Reporting to the Commercial Administrative Director, the incumbent will have the following responsibilities: Job Responsibilities Support the Sales and Management teams for requests relating to sales and profitability pertaining to our customers, including the calculation of commissions;
Perform various analyses on the profitability of sales, products and customers;
Act as financial support for the Planning and Supply Chain team;
Actively participate in the preparation and analysis of results and financial statements for the commercial component;
Contribute to budget preparation and financial forecasts;
Execute current accounting operations (end of month/quarter, journal entries, reconciliations of balance sheet accounts (ledger and inventory));
Ensure continuous improvement of current processes;
Ensure the reliability and completeness of the financial information produced;
Exercise constant monitoring of best practices in his/her specialty and share them with the organization;
Respect the internal control structure in order to minimize the business risks inherent in operations and fraud.

Skills and requirements
Bachelor’s degree in administration or finance;
CPA accountant designation or in the process of obtaining it (an asset);
Minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience;
Solid analysis capacity, autonomy and sense of initiative;
Knowledge of SAP (a strong asset);
Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Excel environment;
Action-oriented and able to exercise an advisory role;
Organizational ability, planning capability and thoroughness;
Bilingualism (French-English).
